OH MY I can't calm down. I find myself so dead, too dead, to even care about those things for which I used to SCREAM and GET RILED. I am a passive, more gentile person, but also a bit of a bland oaf.

You know, I had thought that this group was dead. It's nice to read about some belief and faith. I'm interested to know what prompted such an outburst after so long a silence? I'd also like to suggest something, if I may be so bold. The Eastern Orthodox Church also makes the claim that it is the oldest branch. It too would line up with what you've explained you love about Catholicism.
