sleeping pills and

It's been an interesting past few days to say the least. Lots of turmoil, but that's all over with. When you don't have much it's easy to take what you have for granted. Keep that in mind kids. I can't believe it's the weekend already.

I've been having trouble with restlessness lately, so last night when I was picking up some milk for Big P I bought some Sleepinal, which is an over the counter sleeping aid. I popped one at around midnight last night, passed out soon thereafter and didn't wake up until about 11:20. They should put a warning label on that stuff. I'm going to keep this stuff handy for the next time I have to go on a road trip.

Speaking of road trip, for spring break I am planning on going camping. Anyone else interested? And Shelby, where are you guys staying? I was at Books-A-Million the other day, and saw a book of nature photography from that Bankhead National Forest. That place looks beautiful, and I wouldn't mind spending some time there.

Ever since the Bonnaroo line-up was announced I've had this weird feeling of anxiety. Probably because I really want to trip my balls off when I'm there. Last year I passed on the oppurtunity because it was my first time there and I didn't really want to be confused for hours, but I think this year I'll have to take advantage of it. Speaking of hallucinogens, I've had a mushroom chocolate for a few months now and I need to find some time to eat it and have some fun. The last time I tripped I was left with this strange feeling of well-being and clear-headedness (is that a word?) for days after.

I'm sort of dissapointed Claypool's not going to be at Bonnaroo, I was praying that Primus was going to make an appearance after the release of their singles CD last year. Oh well.

Also, I stumbled across this Movie Trailer today for Across the Universe:

An original musical film, Across The Universe is a fictional love story set in the 1960s amid the turbulent years of anti-war protest, the struggle for free speech and civil rights, mind exploration and rock and roll. At once gritty, whimsical and highly theatrical, the story moves from high schools and universities in Massachusetts, Princeton and Ohio to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the Detroit riots, the killing fields of Vietnam and the dockyards of Liverpool. A combination of live action and painted and three-dimensional animation, the film is paired with many Beatles songs that defined the time.
