I've never thought about it before, but i actually quite like the fact that it's just Ran and the four guys.
Because in this episode they're like four overprotective big brothers. And it's ridiculously cute.

Four overprotective and STALKERISH big brothers!
Ken's heated participation was most appreciated! And not because i would ship him and Ran or something, but simply because that's the way Ken IS. If it would have been, say Retsu getting married, I'm sure Ken would have been just as much distressed!
And this scene is good, because.. You know, even though there are two new members in the team now and they ARE a team and they're all friend and they trust each other.. There's still this EXTRA piece of closeness between Jan and Retsu. Just like it should be. Because Retsu's been there for Jan from the very beginning, no? Retsu is the person that Jan always turns to first. I like that.
THIS SCENE WAS MADE OF WIN. BECAUSE JAN NEEDS FAMILY LOVE TOO. AND THE OTHER GUYS HAVE NOTHING AGAINST PROVIDING IT.
