HOW TO DEAL WITH A MAN LIKE SHERLOCK HOLMES

So, men's figure skating gold medal goes to the US of A. I am surprised. Not shocked, but surprised. Up until the moment when Plushenko didn't win, I thought that the judges would continue to be biased about him. I'm glad they weren't. I still think Lysacek is an arrogant douche, but his performance was flawless and as much as it pains me to see Plushenko sad, his wasn't. If Plushenko had won, it would just have been unfair towards Lysacek. And I'm glad that Daisuke got bronze, although it pains me so much that Lambiel missed the 3rd place by only 0,5 points. So little, you guys. D: But at least we'll see him in the gala and he will be charming and wonderful and utterly lovely, I'm sure.

I find it kind of unfair that Weir didn't get 5th place. Don't really remember Chan's performance, but if I'm honest, that might be more because I was doing something else (coughMikelangelocough) at that time. But it's not like Chan's not going to be in the gala anyway, since he's Canadian. I would have liked to see Weir's Lady Gaga program, but oh well.

The award ceremony finished around 7.30am and then I talked with my mom and then I watched some early morning cartoons on tv and then some Mozart l'Opera Rock videos and read Leverage fic and well, then it just seemed pointless to go back to bed. Since I have dentist at 2pm and would have to get up at least at 12. Idk. Or maybe I'll try to shut my eyes for an hour after I post this.

...if I could just stop looking at pictures of RDJ and Jude Law and stop listening to Je dors sur des roses.

Maybe I'll go find breakfast instead..

figure skating, daisuke, the world's only consulting detective
