Like the winner is of any surprise at all. Plushenko skates like a god, we all know that, it wasn't likely going to change in the few years he wasn't competing

I used to love both but for some reasons plushenko always won me a little more XD But yeah, before was between the two, when yagudin retired was just Plushenko always winning xD
Exactly. Before, they sort of had someone to compete against. After Yagudin left, it all just became technicalities and jumps and ect for Plushenko. I felt like he had lost his soul, because nobody could keep up with him technically and that was enough for him to always win. I think when his performances lost the soul, I fell a little out of love with him. I still don't know where I stand. D:
But I suppose it's normal, if you suddenly loses the competition and you always wins you loose something, then it's just doing it good, not doing it the best you could because somebody is as good as you... He probably lost motivation .
O. Today after the competition an Estonian tv channel was having an interview with him and he said something along the lines that Yagudin and a couple of others are the people who have helped him through rough spots and have inspired and taught him a lot. Idk, it just felt so heart-warming, that Plushenko mentioned him. ♥ My love for these two helped me through some hard times back at school, I just care so much for them and want them to be happy.
