Grand Dame of Mystery

I finally finished my Agatha Christie library selection. Granted, it was "Five Classic Murder Mysteries" so the fact that it took me more than two months to read - while reading other things, too, I swear - shouldn't be inerpreted as total literature failure. The five classic mysteries were: "The Secret Adversary", "The Murder of Roger Ackroyd", "The Boomerang Clue", "The Moving Finger" and "Death Comes as the End".

For the life of me I cannot remember what the boomerang clue was or why any fingers were involved in anything. I have a mind like a sieve, except it's proving less useful. Especially for pasta preparation.

Anyway. The dust jacket says that Christie is the most widely translated English-language author. Her works have been translated into more languages than Shakespeare(!!). Could this be true? Can the internet verify?
