A Good Question

Look at these disparate shapes.
The air is displaced
by the bulk of the table.
The table is borrowed.
For that matter, the chair is plastic.
Altogether, the square room
is concealed from the snow.
The snow falls for nine hours.
Occasionally on the sly
I raise up the window.
An implosion of temperatures
condenses steam to water.
How can I live like this?
