[It would be in Sannan's nature to go quietly, but not this time. He's still a wolf, and wolves don't go easily, even if they've been mostly fangless for a while.
So, as soon as he senses the droids enter his room, he's already turning to face them, fully intending to fight, hand on his abacus (katana as always forgotten and out of reach)--
Unfortunately, he's never faced a robotic opponent before, let alone seen a robot. One second's worth of hesitation is all it takes for the droids to make their move; he manages to get one word in before the needle is in his neck and the sedative works its magic:]

[And down he goes. The droids didn't bother with subtlety when they smashed the door down to get in, and they certainly won't now.]

[As Sannan is being dragged away, his book falls to the ground. The impact turns on the video feed, although there's really nothing to see except the ceiling of his room.
