I love a cappella music. I have since those weirdoes on "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" (anybody remember that cheesy game show...man am I dating myself now). Anyway, I recently heard an a cappella version of "Eye of the Tiger," performed by the Brown Derbies (an a cappella group from Brown University). I tried to find it for you guys to share the wonderment of the a-cappella-ness, but I could not.
I don't use P2P's any more, but this time I would have made an exception, since it is absolutely impossible to purchase the CD "Down Time," by the Brown Derbies, since it was limited in duplication, and this was from like 1994. Suffice it to say that you guys should all learn the wonderment that is an a cappella cover to any popular song. So yeah, all of you people with the P2P stuff...if you're going to download music, grab some a cappella covers while you're at it.
I should get some of the music people from our 3 campuses together to make an a cappella group. That'd be sweet. Yep, I'm daydreaming the impossible again, so before I go any farther, I'm gonna go check myself into a mental institution, or at least get some sleep. God bless you guys, and sweet dreams.
