So I promised some results of that MBTI thing I mentioned in my journal last entry. Time to make good and give you two profiles (yes the guy's last name is really Butt).
INFP Profile - Butt
INFP Profile - Kearsey

Secondly, I wanted to mention those of you that I prayed for specifically yesterday, and for a good 45 minutes or so. You know who you are:
Nate, Katherine, Hope, Melissa, Annette, Ashley, Ami, Elizabeth.
I did pray for the rest of my brothers and sisters in Christ, so don't feel left out if I didn't mention you, I just thought that these ones needed some special prayers at the time.

Thirdly, I'm going to the CBA convention here in Denver tomorrow. The CBA is short for the Christian Booksellers Association, and isn't limited to books, but also includes all manner of Christian media and retail products (like movies, music, gifts, and books). Anyway, my uncle Lee got me an exhibitor's pass to this, and I HAVE to go, since it is a "closed" show, and I will probably never get to go to something like this again.
Apparently it's mostly a place where a lot of networking, product exhibition (in the case of exhibitors), and purchasing (in the case of retailers) goes on. So yeah, this will be interesting (and I'll be there in about 8 hours), so I'll let you guys know how it goes. Apparently it is a week long, but I only get to go today (Monday), as I have to work all week.
I went to some praise and worship concert today (prior to the convention that officially starts tomorrow) that was exclusive to convention attendees. Yeah, it was cool, and were some truly gifted musicians there. I also have to confess that as Anthony Evans (son of preacher Tony Evans) was singing, that I thought of Hope telling me that she thought that black people had wonderful singing voices. This guy was wonderful.
Also, Rebecca St. James had a very beautiful voice. She was the only artist there that I had heard of. There was another girl called Bethany something that was only 16 and wrote every song on her new CD that was coming out. That's truly impressive. The other artists weren't bad themselves, and the roughly 3 hours of music that I heard was a real treat. So yeah, very cool, and I can't argue with free.
Also, before the music, I had a "divine appointment" with a gentleman named David whose calling was apparently helping others to find their own. God sure has a sense of humor, but I definitely needed that. This guy was a motivational speaker, and I guess he's coming back to Denver to teach people to walk on broken glass and hot coals, and to bend steel rods against their necks without piercing their windpipe in the process - or something. I guess that's in September, and I'm intrigued enough (and convinced enough that this gentleman is a Christian), that I'd like to try that maybe.
Anyway, this guy gave me a model that was a good start on finding my calling, and I'll be sure to post that at some point. Maybe if you're lucky, I'll even post my own answers to the questions he posed to me in the model (just as soon as I figure them out with much prayer). Cliffhanger, I know, but that's just the way it has to be for 2 AM.
Well, I'm off to bed, and then to go to the convention later today. It's gonna be very cool, and I'll post something about it I'm sure. May God bless you guys, and thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my LJ. I really do feel loved when you guys do that...
