An Appeal for Books
I know that I need to put more effort into maintaining this thing, and it doesn't help that Livejournal's popularity has declined incredibly over the last decade.
However, I am making the following pleas in all of the blogs I own.
I need books... And, I cannot afford to buy all of the books that I would like to own.
So, I am asking for Charity Books.
If you have ANY College Level (sophomore or above) textbooks for Math, Physical Science (Physics Chemistry, Astronomy, Biology, Geology, etc.), Languages, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or History...
If you have any books on these subjects that are not textbooks, or if you have any Peer-Review Journals, those would be great.
In the vein of entertainment... Manga, Comics, Novels (the serious ones, with no pictures), and other such books... Those would be good too...
If you know anyone who has books that are looking for a new home... I would love to give them one. My Five year plan includes a new home with a Library as one of the rooms (Actually, the Library/Study/Studio - The Ten year plan includes separate roomed for the Library/Study and Studio, and the 15 year plan includes a separate room for each). I am currently living in a house that has a large living room with deep bookshelves that are nearly completely empty.
I would love to have any books that can be parted with, and would be willing to pay a small amount for them as well as shipping costs if they need to be mailed.
