It is Fucking Kitten Chaos!

I have a few cats (old kittens really, as they are not yet fully 1 yr old) that I have been trying to find homes for.

I found homes for a couple of them, but three of them have defied my attempts, and then two became pregnant.

I decided to take them to the SPCA, but the two Pregnant ones I couldn't until they gave birth as I didn't discover the pregnancies until too late, and they were almost ready to deliver.

Well, that happened last night.

I was going to wait the two necessary weeks before taking them up to the SPCA to give them up for adoption, and Kittens go quick in adoption programs. They wanted the two week wait so that the Kittens will have the best chance at survival. Sometimes mothers who have been moved around don't make good care providers to their kids.

Well, one of the mommies is having delivery trouble, and her sixth kitten may be a still-birth. I won't have a chance to find out though, as I have to take her to the SPCA emergency vet to make sure that they can get the stuck kitten out of her. It may still be alive, but the odds at this point are against it... That makes me cry...

Her kittens (playing favorites here) are also a lot cuter. I thought about switching a few of hers with the other kitty-mommy's kittens, but I feel wrong doing that, even though they themselves don't seem to be able to recognize the difference... Which, is where the Kitty Chaos is coming from.

See, the mommy-cats have their mommy here. I had taken her to the SPCA, and she was pregnant at the time and they aborted her kids... So, she is a little bit kitten crazed. She keeps trying to steal all of the kittens, and for some reason tries to kill some of them (Actually, it is NO surprise to me at all that she is doing this. It is typical cat behavior)...

Now, the other two went into labor at different times. The first one was nearly finished delivering by the time the second delivered her first.

But, because of genetic wiring, the second kept trying to steal the first's kittens as they were being born. The First then would try to steal the second's as they were being born after she had settled into the "Den" I made her, which I now need to remove her from as I need it to take the second to the SPCA. BTW, the First is named Poke-Kitty (or Pokitty, or Pokey) and the Second is named Pancake Cuddles (because she cuddles like a pancake)...

It is Pancake, who is the most affectionate of all of the cats that I am having to take to the SPCA. She was the girl I was thinking about hanging onto with Chunk-kitty (Chunkitty or Chunky) - for that matter, so is Pokey. Both are adorable cats (unwed-teenage kitten mothers) but I can't keep either in the situation, so Chunky is going to just have to make due to Little-G (Jack's cat) for a friend. Both are fixed males, so they should get along OK (Males get along much easier than females, especially fixed males)...

That just leaves Big'skers (Lotta Smiles Big-Whiskers - or Lotta or Big'skers) to take care of... She will be going to the SPCA too. I had always planned to take her. she managed to do the smart thing (I locked her ass up in other words while she was in heat) and not get pregnant (I didn't realize that Pancake and Pokey were in heat until it was too late apparently)...

Gotta go see if Pancake may have her last kitten before 4pm. That is when I leave to take her to the SPCA. If she has the kitten before then (live or dead) then I won't need to take her until the kittens are old enough... So sad...
