didn't conform to social norms = didn't have a birthday party.
i don't like the attention, it makes me very awkward.
so i decided to spend many days with different groups of people.
birthday itself -with J!
BARRACKS @ DEMPSEY (behind the block that houses Jones the Grocer)
we were lucky to sit at the "open air" portion which was air conditioned. it's like eating in an air conditioned garden. pretty cosy. that portion closes at 3PM btw.
Squid Ink Pizza.
different from the ordinary
like its name suggests, the crust is squid inked. v fresh seafood!
Lobster Linguine with generous portions of lobster(s) & roe. the lobster sauce tasted a little like the the char mee sauce. not very worth it IMO
Mango Crumble
mango pudding & cubes at the bottom separated from a fairly thick layer of custard by a layer of dark chocolate. bits of digestive biscuits (i think) sprinkled at the top.
bill totaled up to $70+ but we had the discount card so it was only 60+! pretty reasonable!
will definitely go again, heard the steak (dinner menu only) is pretty aweesumz.
i heart steaks <3 <3
the whole place looked arty farty. even the toilets.
LOOK AT WHAT I CAPTURED IN THE CUBICLE (hahaha)
okay in all part 2 of my 21st with J was good! i love indulging in good food!
good day people!
