Sooner or later, the nerds are going to have to revolt....

Trying to be responsible and upkeep this here journal... though to be honest, I wonder if any of my friends actually read it. Not that I'd stop completely if you guys didn't, but I would lose a hell of a lot of motivation, that's for sure. I have been wondering though... so if any of you guys actually do read this drivel of mine, let me know. :)

Anyways, things are ok. Still enjoying the hell out of my new minidiscs, even though I'm burning tracks on just one of them right now. Yes, it has been a while since I got these, but making mixes takes time ok? It's an art man! Art takes time.

Oh, speaking of minidiscs, remember how I was talking about how much the look of the things mean a lot to me, like the way tapes did when I used to record music with those for mix tape building? Well, a little while later after I posted up that entry, I stumbled upon a little bit of nostalgia on the net....

http://www.tapedeck.org/

It's a site full of pics of old tapes!! Ok, so that might be a little too geeky for some of you, but man this was a sight for sore eyes. So many of those images took me back to my old collection; I was even hearing some old tunes in my head as I looked at the image of a tape casing design that I used. Take a look, you might just get a kick out looking at some of these things. Some of the designs are really weird, others are rather utilitarian. But most are pretty interesting. Again, the TDK's tend to be my favorites (the black SA 90s were my favorite designs period, and made up the bulk of my collection), but a few of the Sony's were bought by me as well. I also saw some tapes my father used (and still uses... he's old fashioned that way), which definitely brought back memories.

Hmm... I was gonna post up more stuff... um... can't really think of anything right now. Oh well, I'm sure I'll remember later and post it up. Oh... but before I go...

These are the guys I'm supporting for this year's election. Really, Bill and Ted are just what we need right now. Think about what their righteous reign will bring us in the future. And let's not forget their awesome campaign slogan:

"Be Excellent to Each Other. And PARTY ON DUDES!!"

Yep. They got my vote.

(Not the best image I can make, sure, but I'll improve it, don't worry.)

minidisc, life
