(no subject)
so i'm home. and that's pretty cool.
moving out took 900 years. megan gave me a hard time about how slow and inefficient i am, but that's just cause she loves me. after loading up the car, mom and i went to chicago the musical downtown (still in nashville) and it was really good. twas a fun hott date w/my momma.
after i got home yesterday i hung out w/the fam, then headed over to chels' for some girl time. which was fun. it's always so good to be with my girls. i love them lots and they rock my socks off.
today has been a rather long day. involving a whole lot of driving and even more bad traffic. yuck. but i got to see even more girls and that makes me supremely happy. and it was good to visit NC, if a little weird. i really am starting to move on, which is both sad and a huge relief. i find it so annoying when my mom talks and talks and talks about every little tiny detail going on at NC, from who's dating who to what went on at the BPO meetings to what teachers are doing to how much better everything has gotten since i left. i told her that i'd really rather she not do that, and perhaps take an interest [obsession] with the goings-on in nashville, but i don't think that sounded quite as appealing. oh well.
nick and i went to dinner (TGIF) then target (each bought a cute/cheap pair of shoes), and then we watched shark tale. it was pretty good, though i think i was expecting better. i absolutely love that kid. he makes me so happy and we have such a good time together. and i love the way he and my family interact with each other. it's just adorable.
tomorrow is state for orch and band. i hope they do well.
