(no subject)
back at vandy. good to be back of course, but break and being home did not last nearly long enough.
saturday i had lunch w/zach (who i hadn't seen since november) and hung out w/corinne. then conner's japanese exchange student came. his name is Yu and he's adorable. we had dinner, which was cutely awkward and then went to the NC guy's bball game, which they lost. oh well. it was weird, because i felt so disconnected from everything NC related. strange. Yu and the other exchange student there both had a lot of fun. it was cute. i wish i'd been able to spend more than 4.5 hours with him. oh well.
left home at 7am sunday. got here round noon. hung out and didn't do homework.
the weather's nice (52), but not as nice as it could be. this week is another week of hell for me. i guess after about 2 weeks of not doing anything, i've kind of brought it upon myself, but oh well. i really want to go w/the band to the girl's NCAA tournament in Seattle this weekend, but i'm hesitant about missing class. we shall see. Vandy guys play IU this wednesday in bloomington. i REALLY wish i could go to that game too, but the band's not going. GO DORES (heh heh)
some really awesome news: you may remember how i mentioned my friend matt about a month ago, and how he was in surgery for a cancerous brain tumor. well today he was back in french class!! (after about 3 weeks in the hospital) i didn't ask him for details, but he seems to be doing quite well. so thanks so much for keeping him in your prayers--it seems to have worked wonders!
