La Tormenta Trip

Stupid blogspot can't reload so then I decided to post about my trip to Japan last April here. Well, LJ is my fandom related blog, and I won't post it to my blogspot anyway. So, let's start!

We went to Nagoya on the first day. Landed in the morning (around 8 am) then went straight to city centre right away by train. We bought onigiri first at kombini for breakfast (budget flight won't give you any food, even candy!). Arrived at Nagoya station half an hour later then we put our luggage in the coin locker. Being stingy we could be, we decided to put our bag in the 300 yen locker and barely able to close the door properly XD. Then went to the tourism office to book our bus ticket to Tokyo.... but it's not possible! We had to book it via internet then pay it on selected kombini. The tourism officer told us there's internet cafe near the station, but we couldn;t find it (but then easily found it later just after we booked our ticket, wtf). Thanks God free wifi was available on the station so I can use my tablet to book it. After pay and print the ticket at kombini, we finally started wandering around Nagoya city.

Guess what? We spotted the Arashi truck!!

It feels like Arashi welcoming us XD

The first stop was Sony store coz I want to buy Sony Walkman Snoopy series soooo bad. Since it's a limited edition one, so they only sell it in short period of time (like only 2 month). I picked the initial one, then they will engraved it on the back of the walkman.

Major love!!!
Even though in my opinion, iPod is way better as mp3 player, but since it has Snoopy I don't mind. Ah, there's no option to change the language to English, so I was like.... -___-. But again, since it's Snoopy I don;t mind XD.

Then we initially wanted to go to Osu shopping arcade, but we just soooo hungry. So we ate at the first CoCo Curry we saw. The curry was so yummy and the portion was huge (like 300g of rice). Apparently we can ask for smaller size (200 g of rice) but I just found it out when my plate was finished. For a big eater like me no problem at all, but my friend couldn't finish her curry.

Next destination was Johnny's store. No picture was allowed inside and outside the store (wtf?). Took some pictures from across the street, lol.

We didn't buy anything since there's only photos and some old concert goodies.

Then we went to Nagoya Castle. We arrived there an hour before it closed but we still went in anyway. Being so European (we're Asian though), we wanted to lay down on the grass to rest. But no one doing it! I mean the weather so nice and there's vast freaking grass there so Y U people no laying down??? We ended up sitting on the bench while enjoying green tea ice cream.

Went to do some shopping afterward near the Nagoya station. We're still full from the curry so skip the dinner.

Our bus departed in the midnight and we still had load of time to spend. The problem was we're freaking tired from walking all day. We just sit outside the station, freezing our body. I didn't bring jacket or coat coz I'm kinda expecting like 20 or more degrees, but nope. It was below 10 degrees in the night.

Stupid thing happened coz we missed our bus! WTF!!! Guess both our brain just so tired (or probably froze) that can't think properly. So we took another bus (and paid for the ticket again, but cheaper, but still there goes my Yen...). Glad that I'm with my best travel-mate ever. We're like: "Ooops, we missed the bus. Now what? Let's think. There's another bus available. Ok, buy the ticket!". XDD

I had a good sleep in the bus. We arrived at Ikebukuro very early in the morning (5.30 am). We wanted to put our baggage in coin locker before go to Tsukiji but all the coin lockers are unavailable due to maintenance, like seriously all! We decided to just go straight to our hostel but none of us printed the map how to get there! Again, thanks God I'm with my best travel-mate, so we just went to McDonald for breakfast XDD. You can think properly when your stomach full you know. No wifi there, but I could get wifi signal from bus that has a short stop at bus stop near McD, lol. After finish our breakfast (and get the map to our hostel) we went straight to the hostel. It called House Ikebukuro which I highly recommended!! Been to many hostel in Europe, House Ikebukuro is the best accommodation ever!

We went to NTV, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara, Asakusa, and Tokyo Sky Tree that day. Will write about it on the next post :)
