My prospective Professor sent me an email about current situation in Japan, especially Tokyo:
Dear All; Almost one month passed after the earthquake and the tsunami. The confirmed death toll from the earthquake and tsunami is now 12985, with 14809 missing. The rebuilding cost will be about 6% of Japanese total annual economic output. We still have aftershocks and Fukushima nuclear reactors are not stable yet.
Please notice, however, all death toll are by earthquake and tsunami, but NOT by nuclear power station accidents. We have almost no seriously destroyed big/tall buildings in Tokyo as well as Sendai and other cities in Tohoku where directly affected by the earthquakes. All Shinkansen trains, about 15~18 bullet trains operated at faster than 200km/hr at the hit of earthquake, controlled perfectly without any accidents.
Although we have nearly 130,000 refugees who lost their houses including many people escaped from possible radioactive contaminated area, we try to start ordinary life as much as possible to maintain and boost Japan economy.
Our summer semester in TUA will start from April 18 (10days later than usual for the convenience of students from Tohoku area). This weekend is the best to see cherry blossoms, Sakura flowers, in Tokyo. Sakura is always something very special for us Japanese after long cold winter. Sakura in this spring is, again, very special for all of us. People in Tohoku will see Sakura 10~14 days later than Tokyo.
Thank you again for your prayers,
KTN.

In other news, my group in Electone competition got the 1st place. Yay for that :D
In contrast, I probably failed on my music exam, again for the 3rd time :(
