That's it. Six days left. I'll soon become a soldier. Serving my country. Protecting my people.
I am not scared. I am just feeling uneasy. But everything will be alright.

I'll be back in no time chasing down my life. 2 years of something different. Something new. To improve myself. To become a better version of myself.

I wish I had something witty to say
But I am bareboned and backed against the wall
I wish I could step back and choose to stay
But I know I need to catch the dreams and fall

I can pace back and forth and pray
Close my eyes as times get tough
Blank mind and enduring times to pay
Soon I would have had enough
