Edward's cipher:
Words are mashed together and the letters are separated in a pattern of 1,5,7,5,1 or ,3,6,9,6,3, clusters.
The letters themselves are then coded. A=1 and B=2 and so on, However, the number count will start over again at number 13. So:
13 = A = 1 23 = K = 11 7 = U = 21
14 = B = 2 24 = L = 12 8 = V = 22
15 = C = 3 25 = M = 13 9 = W = 23
16 = D = 4 26 = N = 14 10 = X = 24
17 = E = 5 1 = O = 15 11 = Y = 25
18 = F = 6 2 = P = 16 12 = Z = 26
19 = G = 7 3 = Q = 17
20 = H = 8 4 = R = 18
21 = I = 9 5 = S = 19
22 = J = 10 6 = T = 20
How does this cipher work?
Let's take the phrase: "Over the Rainbow."
The number sequence is : 15, 22, 5, 18, 20, 8, 5, 18, 1, 9, 14, 2, 15, 23 with the numbers corresponding to the order the letter comes in the alphabet.
Now, if with move the numbers to the coded pattern, where A = 13, the pattern will be: 3, 8, 17, 4, 6, 20, 17, 4, 13, 21, 26, 14, 1, 9
match the numbers with the proper letter (where A = 1) and you get : C, H, Q, D, F, T, Q, D, M , U, Z, N, A, I
Place the letters in one of the patterns above, and you get: C HQDFT TQDMUZN AI
Now, he's not going to put plain words into that code, because Holmes figured out the double cipher. He has code names for every person. (if you want a code name, please respond here! I'm still thinking of them.)

*The people who will know this cipher and be able to use it will be listed shortly. This cipher will not be common knowledge, nor hackable if your character's name is not listed.*

NOTE!: Although Ed's given these people the cipher to translate, it is expected that those people who are not used to coding their text may still have trouble deciphering it. It's perfectly okay to mess up once in a while for the lulz!
Information with Maes in terms of 'bad guys'
"And as far as code goes... Thankfully we have the network, which helps. But if we want to communicate in person... Two fingers extended and then a glance at the person if they're just suspicious. Three fingers and a glance if you think they're an active threat?"
Bad guys on the look out...
Saul, Envy, Greed, Madara, Kurotsuchi, Sebastian. Then there are the ones that are shady but either haven't tried to hurt someone that we've seen, or are biding their time - Kamui, Carmen, Hisoka.
