It's official: I'm gonna pursue the Australia choice!
Low funds and strong urge to see my new niece/nephew entering the world forced me to choose. I went ahead and bought a one-way ticket to Vancouver--only a mere $230-ish! A fantastic deal.
So now I check the Victoria job bank and craigslist websites religiously and add a new item either to my Goodwill pile or my suitcase (which is actually a backpack) on an hourly basis.
I'm gonna miss this place: This house, the cats, the city, and most of all the people.
Hopefully I'll have the ability to retain the French I've learned as well as the friendships I've made. Hopefully the family I've been reacquainted with don't hate me.
As an aside: I can't believe I didn't go outside today. It was supposedly warm-ish. It's apparent that the sun will see me off here in Montreal.
