(no subject)
My journals are so full of writings and illustrations and drawings... I'm not sure if anyone gets anything out of looking at them.. heh.
Everything has gone so fast lately. I've been so busy getting ready to go to Spain for a month. In the Netherlands/Belgium/Luxemburg where I've spent most of my time overseas, I have practiced my French and Dutch for the past several years. Now, I have been learning Spanish (though I will have an interpreter with me.. I still enjoy learning it.) The similarities between French and Spanish are frustrating because I have the tendency to combine the two. And sometimes even throw in some Dutch.. all unconscioiusly. Now my accent is quite bizarre and have trouble mustering English. I wonder if anyone will have any idea of what country I actually come from. I've even had trouble talking to the Indian guy (who speaks fluent English) at the corner store who i know pretty well. I'll speak spanish to him without thinking.. and he'll laugh at me. I have to struggle to speak English unless I can concentrate. It's interesting though how you can adopt lanuages and accents. People here even wonder where I came from.. heh. should be interesting in Spain. But I should be able to pick it up more quickly having studied.
It seems that nothing will ever be certain in my life. Not that this is a bad thing.. but there was a short time when I really wanted to be stable .. in a place that was good for my health. Now I only want to travel and make (and show) my art.
I'll be leaving in 8 days.. if you want to wish me a happy birthday (grin) you should do so now. I'll be in Barcelona on the 1st. When I return, I don't have much time at all to rest up to go to New York and New Brunswick. I've been in a good remission and I am taking care of myself.. hoping it will last much longer than over the summer.
2004 was a year to forget. 2005 is.. with each day.. brilliant with suprises and opportunity. My website will be quite professional soon. I have a very good designer working on it. It's been used mostly for image hosting thus far... and i havent had the time to put in my recent work.. I've been traveling quite a bit. But it as I would have wished.
My weekend in west Texas and San Antonio went well. My parents will be moving to the Valley.. Edinberg i believe? My mother was offerred a position at Univerity of Texas Pan Am. I am definitely NOT going to the valley.. but that now leaves my options open to move about wherever I need. Many options at this point... if only my insurance were valid in Europe.
Maybe I'll defect. heh.
