Damn it feels good to be a pirate!
Granted, I am not really a pirate, but I thought the title was a cool pun in celebration of the new johnny depp movie.
So here's an update about today... I got lucky today by getting out of work at 1 pm. The work was fairly easy and I was just so exhausted that I didn't even get a chance to think of Daniel Day-Lewis haha. However, I have decided that I am probably going to buy a used copy of his movie Eversmile, New Jersey. I watched the trailer for it last night and it looks hilarious!
As for this afternoon, my dad took me out to lunch, which was cool since I did that for him yesterday! The weather in Frostburg has been a bit chilly so I haven't gone swimming since Monday. Hopefully, warmth will return and I'll go for an afternoon at the pool.
In other news, my mom is getting a new car. The car my mom got used a couple of years ago, which was a saturn, is just about dead. as a result, we're getting a 2006 Hyundai Sonata! We should have the car in time for the She Wants Revenge concert!!!
I can't wait for the SWR show. It's kind of an early birthday party for me. I think i'm going to bring a cake to share with the band. I've given them flowers, poetry, mix cds... so why not do cake! then again, cookies would be easier haha. but yeah i can't wait to go to baltimore. i just hope that my friend sami can join my family and i at the show! and i also hope that a particular person that I am fond of would atleast make an appearance. (hint... if it's not sold out, i'll even get him his ticket! yeah that's how bad i'd like to hang out with this person)
this weekend, I have sociology and statistics homework to do. I'm hoping to just relax, get some cleaning done, maybe go out with a friend, and definately see a movie. I know it's nothing too exciting. I do know that i'll probably play with my puppy a good bit. Rudy is all about playing and he loves wood. apparently, golden retrivers love to eat wood. It's something normal in that particular breed. Right now, he's rolling around on the floor and gnaring on a stick. it's soo cute.
One more piece of news... Hex is the coolest tv show right now. hurray for BBC America!!! Who knew being stalked by a fallen angel could be this exciting!
