this entry is brought to you by the letter S

May 03, 2006 18:42

the idea of this is to write ten words beginning with a letter that was picked by a friend of mine. along with those ten words, i have to say something about their significance. so here i go...

Sarah: My 17 year old sister, who is about to graduate from high school soon. she's a pretty cool kid.
Stay (so close, faraway): Probably one of my favorite U2 songs and it's from the soundtrack of the movie So close, faraway, which is the sequal to Wings of Desire.
Spam: lunch meat that i don't care for, but it's also the nickname of a guy i'm fond of. go figure!
Spelling: As a journalist, you would think I would be good with my spelling and I really am not. It's weird too, because I used to excell very well in the subject when I was a kid in school.
She Wants Revenge: They're a band that I am seriously proud of. I find them to be very talented guys. I look forward to seeing them open for Depeche Mode.
Salmonella: Back in July of 2004, I became very sick with this. I ended up in the hospital for almost a week. Ironically enough, I was released from the hospital on my 19th birthday.
Sailing: Though I've only done it once in my life, I love sailing on the bay. I hope someday, my uncle and aunt will take me sailing once again.
Singing: I used to sing in choirs when I was a kid. I did that stuff from the age of 11 until I graduated high school. Karoke is another related activity I love to do. Honestly, I love to sing...granted it's the right music and I can hear my pitch.
Spring: My favorite season. It's been so beautiful for the past month and a half now. I won't lie though, my allergies have been a bit tough on me though.
Stars: There is nothing like being in the middle of nowhere, looking up into the sky at night and looking at the stars.

odds and ends, something fun
