update... just something standard i suppose.
i haven't updated in a while. it's kinda hard to believe and i'm usually good with this stuff.
saturday- i went to the dance party for pancake mountain http://www.pancakemountain.com the dance party was deerhoof performing and all of us kids dance. it's going to be on the tv show too. anyways, after the party, i ended up meeting Ian Mackaye!!! that was so fucking cool. it's not every day when you get to meet one of your personal heroes. we talked for a little bit and it was just sureal and amazingly cool. he was very nice.
saturday night, at first i moped around the apartment. i thought i was going to go out with friends. about 10 pm, i got frustrated and said "fuck this shit, i'm going out and doing something." so i went to the black cat. Scott from pancake mountain got me into the deerhoof show for free. I didn't watch them play for like only a few minutes. I then went downstairs and into the backstage area for some dancing. i met some pretty rad people and had a lot of fun. good dj and i danced and was out until 3 am.
sunday - i did laundry and saw trainspotting! i fucking love that movie. i remember watching it when i was 13. i even read the book. i felt like i was so ahead of my peers in school. in a way i was. that movie has such a great soundtrack too. i watched the movie at the hoff theatre on campus (yes my school has our own movie theatre) and i sat there and recited lines and sang along with the music. seeing old school ewan mcgregor was great.
monday- yesterday was good. i didn't sleep at all so i was quite not there really. my radio show went awesome. classes went great. i got into my jour 100 class so i now have 12 credits! full time, hell yes. my jour 459 class is going to be interesting. because i was so tired, i kept on falling asleep in class. hopefully, i will be better in the following days and into next week.
today- it was good. i had a productive time in my creative writing class. i really hope i can get into my government and politics class. the professor is fucking awesome and she's teaching some rad topics. also i got the new she wants revenge cd for free. the radio station got some copies. the sucky thing about it is it's censored! it's no good to hear just "i wanna tear you apart" i have to hear the real verse... "i wanna fucking tear you apart" so i'll probably just keep the promo copy to use for my show and buy the real deal and have the band sign both haha. i'm also a little miffed love monkey isn't going to be on tonight because of the state of the union address. booo! but the cool thing is next week she wants revenge are going to be on love monkey. so fuck yeah!
current things... well i'm obsessed over she wants revenge. i'm now looking more forward to seeing them than seeing electric six i'm afraid haha. though i fucking love the electric six too.
uh as for my personal life, i am still battling my crush. no cure for me has been found yet. i just wish i had the guts and confidence to walk up to **** and just say " you're a very charming and wonderful person. i don't mean to sound weird, but i have a crush on you. and i'm sorry if i make things weird between us but i have to get rid of this crush somehow. and being silent isn't working." and then just walk away and pretend things are alright. i just can't stand being silent or being afraid to admit things. i see him every now and then and i just want to spend more time with him. i think that's why i have this crush. that and well he's very cute too. someday i'll just tell him. or maybe not... i don't know really.
anyways, i'm sure i'll update sometime soon. and of course make more posts. that's all for now i suppose.
