it's amazing what four and half hours of sleep, taking my medications (i do that everyday though), a frozen coffee, and some alternative country can do for the soul. i'm feeling much better today.
my mom got me up at 730 am to take me into cumberland to collect my final pay check and stuff. the amazing thing was that my boss wasn't in the office, so it's not like she can bother me ever again! before i went to the office, i had a lovely blackberry mocha frozen coffee thingamagiger haha. it was very yummy. a pick me up i defenately needed. other good news about today, is that we got the brand new washer and dryer today! so no more going to the laundramat. it's pretty bad when you get excited like this about laundry haha. also, i got an A in my literature class! yesss!!!
so now for music...
as you heard, i mentioned alternative country. (btw the title of this entry is also the title of a well known alternative country music magazine) many people wonder what that is... sometimes it's bluegrass, americana, rockabilly, or even some folk music. other times, it's rock and roll mixed with country music. it's the brillant stuff you don't hear on country radio or on their music television. you might hear this stuff on national public radio though. or you might see this stuff as 'outlaw' country. so now, i'm going to list you what is in my current rotation
