worst day of work in my life, and I QUIT!
I spent over 10 hours on my knees under a house today
I made a comment today that it was my last day and they could keep this job for $8 hr!
the guy I was working with told the boss about it and It must've pissed him off or something
so, around 5:10...I'm still at the work site. Another group of guys show up late to do thier stuff
they guy I rode with decides to volunteer both of us to stay and help them
How long will this take? I ask
"about an hour."
an hour goes by...
"Um...we're going to have to redo this part...this won't work"
7:30 comes, and we start to do this...
i ask "How long is this going to take?"
..."I don't know, Why? What's wrong?"
"IT'S 7:30!" I don't want to be here until dark!" He just looks at me like it doesn't matter what I want. One of the other guys is giving me a snotty look too.
We leave the work site at 8:35 and get back to the shop at 9:00!
A 13 HOUR DAY!!!!
all the way back neither of us spoke a word. i could've killed this fucking redneck! Earlier today, he made a comment that he has lost 4 helpers in less than a month. I doubt he'll ever figure out why because he's too stupid! He always drove the work truck like he stole it too. Not too many people's driving scares me, but his did! He always honked the horn at women too, and waved at them. Even if they had a man in the car, or even if she wasn't worth looking at. It was embarassing.
But, I have a job interview tomorrow morning for a different heating and air company that only does commercial work, which means no dirty crawlspaces.
