Genius creation
My TV stand is my masterpiece. I decided that my TV was too low and so rather than spending £50+ on a new stand, I've constructed my own makeshift solution. The entire stand is now raised up using the wonder of a plastic foot stool. I placed a wooden shelf that was lying around the house on the stool and straddled the metal frame of the old TV stand on that: so that the stands wheels are hanging in the air. It seems pretty stable and sturdy, and was a damn sight cheaper than the alternative.
