Well, people have done it before, posting a so far unposted older fic (to this comm at least) on here because it fit into the challenge. It's not as if we're distributing prizes or anything :P So be my guest, any reason is good to post fic here.

Oh, and just so that you know, you can also post fics outside of challenges.
