I think I will be dropping my disdain for capital letters, in the style of e.e. cummings, for proper usage in the beginnings of sentences and proper nouns...think of this as me turning over a new leaf and striving for positive change in my life, starting with my writing. believe it or not, E.E. Cummings actually hated that everyone else didn't capitalize his name. it was only in his poetry that punctuation and other grammar conventions were challenged, but a stupid editor just tacked that whole nonconformist thing and voilà, E.E. became e.e.
