Kobo panted heavily, he fought to catch his balance as the mob of Skyraiders, ruthless sky pirates with technology great than that of Paragons, piled ontop of him, one by one. A Single mass of black writhed amidst the battle, the brute covered from head to toe with a dozen or so enemies. A single beam of dark energy enveloped the mass, as one by one, the Skyraiders burned to a dead ash. And there stood Kobo, arms held high victoriously, though with several bruises and burns about him, cheering in triumph. He looked to the hovering figure, a thin, yet muscular man with dark hair and darkened eyes, he wore tattooes in hypnotic tribal patterns across his bare chest, and a a goatee outlined his smile.
"Becareful Kobo, there are far to many to rush on ahead, I can't keep saving you." The newly arrived Warloch grinned
"Nothin' I couldn't handle, and besides, Bliss needs ya, not to mention that fruit, Kessie was it?" Kobo brushed the charred remains out of his outfit. "Now perhaps you should go back, I got a date with a reactor and the whole frickin' Sky Patrol, I heard they brought Skids and ya know how much I love 'em" And indeed, Warloch had seen Kobo patrolling Terrace Volta, the fallen remains of a once great city, and had watched the massive brute leap high into the air, grabbing the wings of two Skids passing by. He drug them to the ground, and continued to pummel the pilots of the single manned ships.
"Be careful, the reactor mustn't be destroyed, if it does, we're all toast, radioactively charred toast. And no ammount of muscle or thickness of skin, will save ya."
"Yeah yeah I know I know, protect the reactor, it goes, we all do, yada yada yada, I heard it at the briefing. By the way, theres something behind ya."
Warloch spun around, a Skyraider porter had him deadsited with his rifle. Though no sooner did Warloch gasp for breath, had another porter gone sailing past his shoulder, and into its kin. They both hit the wall with a sickening crunch and a small explosion from their packs. Kobo brushed his hands and winked, "We're even," and he raised a massive thumb in approval, "besides, I think we got all the big ones."
Warloch only stared in disbelief, behind them, outside the reactor tower, through the only lexicon window in the massive building, was perhaps the largest fleet of Skyraiders on skid he had ever seen. The polluted skies could not be seen through the sheer numbers, as a single, head figure barked out commands over a bullhorn. Warloch smiled, "I think you're right friend, nothing but smooth sailing from here on out."
The two were joined by a smaller, petite woman, who's red hair was kept neatly in a pony tail. She bore several cuts on her face but merely smiled to Warloch, and finally, a green suited boy with spiky black hair, settled beside the waiting three.
"We'll, were all here, and theres the door to the reactor. I say we go in there and show the Skyraiders the reason good always triumphs." They all watched Warloch, he was known not only as their leader, but perhaps, on of the most daring heros they had ever served. A Round of cheers went up amongst the four, as they turned to the door.
Warloch and Bliss ran through, but the kid in green, Zellius, stood open mouthed, staring out the window. Kobo nudged him on the shoulder, "What's wrong kid, ya wanna live forever?" And with that, Kobo threw the kid into the reactor room, following closely, and pulling the massive steel doors shut behind him.

Perhaps the best thing to life is doing good things. I know that I will never save somebody from certain peril, and I will never do a heroic deed. But perhaps that is what draws me to this game. The thrill of rushing into a room and protecting the reactor, having forty some soldiers relentlessly assault you with rifles, and only laughing in mock response, plowing through them like, as it was so aptly put, a Bulldozer at a Peace rally"
Well, things have been good, I've worked quite a bit and the last three nights I've gotten little sleep, I'm not sure whats wrong but, sunday I slept for 4 hours, monday I slept for 4, and last night I got a whopping 5. I know its not to bad but when it hurts to keep my eyes open, I think theres something wrong :P
I heard Josh is/was in jail, something about possession. I don't know if I believe it or not but hey, who knows. He surprised me already by dropping out of school, such a bright future, gone. I meant to ask him about it the last time I was over, but, to no avail. I wonder if hes addicted. And I wonder if its like mine, an escape. An escape isnt neccessarily for a bad reason, your life could be great, but you escape to something you want, you desire, and something you so wishfully need.
Well that is about it, I haven't talked to Kevin or Andrew much, but I have seen em,so its all good. Hopefully I can pry myself off the pc long enough to go say HI:D IF not,oh well.
I work at Lapeer this weekend, the final show. At the polar palace too, seems fun, I'll be dressed up in my staleen shirt and dress pants, looking, "GQ" as Andrew put it :D Maybe I'll meet someone, in hopes that there is a life for me, outside of the screen.
