Nano - the beginning
Wrote 578 after midnight and it's actually showing up.
An additional 1125 so far today. Can't get on to the website to upload new count for widget thing. 60,000 excited writers all wanting to post their word counts at the same time. LOL.
So I've made the 1677 a day goal, but I want to get in around 1350 more today so I can give myself a couple of 1000 day totals next week.
My problem is that my inner comic wants to make every joke work from the very beginning which is pretty much impossble. I don't even know which are running jokes yet and which are one-itimers with a rim shot. Perhaps if I feed her lots and lots of leftover Halloween candy?
When asked if he thought dying was tough, Actor Donald Wolfitt said "Dying is easy, comedy is hard." (Actually, that statement in one form or the other has been attributed to a great many actors and comedians on their death beds.)
