Thankful
I'm feeling rather grateful for all my friends right now and especially those on LJ who have wonderfully tolerated my being absent for so long and coming back with a vengeance spiced with more than a few complaints. Patience and understanding galore! I'm just sorry it took an event like this to make me reach out to friends again. I have a tendency to become a hermit once in a while. I never lose touch intentionally but get caught up in my life a bit much sometimes.
I guess it's self preservation. Sometimes when events occur in my life I find the need to focus on them so much that occasionally I shut down everything else. I'm really going to have to learn how to multi-task because I never forget my friends. They're always in my heart but I think I'm enough of a big girl that I should be able to figure out how to remain in touch while figuring out my various issues.
