Damn, my shoulders and neck are so tense. I'm so glad I have the next two days off. I really want a massage, it hurts so bad and it doesn't help I sleep on my back. >: Bit of whining about work, I'm getting less hours, so I'm scrounging as much as I can. In the meantime, I'm hunting for another job in case this keeps up. Ah, I love new managers with old store nepotism going on. It's like, uh, I'm more than capable and willing to do the work, but no, you give the hours to the people that transfer from your store. Though, I have been goofing off, but I'll do my best to fix that.
And, ahaha, one of the worst workers in my store asked for a promotion to trainer and my current GM's excited about that. I'm sorry. This kid closes down stuff way too early during close. Not to mention, if he's either on backline or frontline, he's going to do the other side's shit. Dude, let the other workers do their thing. There's a certain time when stuff needs to be taken down! I'm not taking the fry station down at 7:30 when we close at 9:00 or 10:00! Did I mention this guy can't clean for the life of him? Sure, he's fast at the job, but he's certainly not thorough. Also, he has such an amazing lack of common sense. One of my shift managers was instructing to have the fry station drip container be cleaned. Being the awesome worker he is, he goes to grab the container, but manager says that he needs to wait till I disassemble and squeegee the grease in the station to the drip tray. All he says is "A'ight." Brilliant. Oh, and he bitches about me not getting stuff disassemble late? It's called time management. I managed to close at around 9:30 tonight with having things disassembled on the time they should be disassembled AND having them cleaned thoroughly. I'm so pissed. I really want this promotion. GM says that there are things I need to work on, but she doesn't specify what. I'd do anything, work my ass off for it. I will earn it. If this kid gets it before I do, then I'm quitting.
But on a lighter note, my roommate said that my fat co-worker's mantits were enticing. It had my shift manager laughing.
Anyway, got page 14 and 15 sketched out, it's all a matter of completing the inking. I hope to get those two pages done for this week, maybe another, so I can go back to my three pages a week thing. But I'm focusing on those gifts for my girl for tomorrow. I really need to relax and do things I really enjoy: draw and talk with my girl and my friends. Work's stressing me out and I feel worn out.
So, expanding on ideas for the ACEN prints:

I'll probably get this set done and out of the way before I get any other ideas. I can see the images solid in my head. I'll get the compositions of these down, and I'll start fleshing them out later. I plan to get two of those prints inked out in the next month. Also thinking of making a short comic? LOL, I have no idea how much yuri would sell in a yaoi-infested convention, but I could give it a try. It'll probably be a one-shot 40-something-page comic involving Juxtapose.
