well, here's this weeks Amherst Bulletin specials:
Pelham police accidentally fire gun at gun safety course...[I guess they forgot to take the course themselves!]
David Keenan running for Selectboard....his public record lists health and safety code violations, violation of zoning laws, contempt of court for refusing to pay $500 towards town lawyer fees in litigation over his refusal to pay taxes due town of $30,000....Keenan feels none of these issues will present a conflict of interest...[I wonder if he teaches gun safety in his spare time?]
Police calmed down a 4 year child who was having hysterics....later the child was admitted to hospital....[just exactly what did they do to him to calm him down???]
A Rolling Green resident reported that a neighbor placed a pine cone on her door step in an attempt to make her trip..police are investigating...[yes, pine cones can be very dangerous...]
also listed under suspicious activity, an ID used by a patron at Russell Licquors checked out okay....[which means if it didn't check out okay, then it would not be suspicious!]
Speeding car gone when police got there...[I guess it really was speeding!]
Handprints were found on the window of a girl's bedroom...police determined that the hand prints belonged to the girl herself....[I guess it all depends on what one looks for in life...]
A chair was found propped up against a window at another residence...police determined that it was used by visiting friends to enter the house...[I wonder if they were gone when police got there?]
Best roller coaster ride in New England.....the Boston Red Sox.
That's all for this week...gotta go play with my guns...
