Gravi Track Japanese #71
It's been five months since the latest track was released, and now the next one is finally here! It was supposed to come out last month, but Murakami-sensei delayed it (again), but now it's ready for all of us to love/hate (oftentimes more of the latter with these new tracks ^_-). So what's in store for the Gravi cast? Find out today in Gravitation Z....uh EX.
So first we see the final scene from Track 70 with Shuuichi and Eiri snuggling on the hillside....and then the members of Bad Luck staring at that image up on a giant movie screen (lolz, we all got pwned, it was just a movie....don't we wish :P). Rage starts clapping in the background, raving about how the story had laughs, action, and love scenes, and how this will propel their company into the movie world. Shuuichi yells at Rage, saying it's nothing to joke around about since Eiri has lost his sight. Suguru yells that there's no way Touma is going to agree to this being released. She says she can get permission, because she has Ryuuichi. Shuuichi laments over how this will expose his kiss with Ryuuichi to the public. K tells Shuuichi that Bad Luck is going to start recording a cover version of a Nittle Grasper song. Shuuichi can't believe they're doing another new song already (remember, this is supposed to be taking place not too long after volume 12, when they had that whole song release contest with Nittle Grasper), but Rage says that a good movie needs a good song, and they're going to start recording tomorrow. Shuuichi says they have a schedule to keep to, but Suguru tells him that they're currently being punished and aren't allowed to make public appearances. Shuuichi asks (yells) why, and Suguru says it's because Shuuichi blows off work so much, and he's lucky he's hasn't gotten fired. Hiro (helpfully) adds that Touma said he would like to fire Shuuichi and then kill him.
Back at Eiri and Shuuichi's place, Shuuichi is doing Eiri's hair (awww) and begs him to go back to the hospital until his eyes are healed, or else he's going to be fired and killed for staying home and taking care of him. Eiri says "That's good," which doesn't please Shuuichi too much ^_^ Shuuichi asks why Eiri doesn't seem to have any desire to have his eyes get better, and in return Eiri asks why everyone's so eager for him to heal, since he hasn't complained about it at all. Shuuichi says there's lots of reasons:
Shuuichi will be executed if he doesn't go back to work, plus in this state Eiri can't write his novels or drive, and since Shuuichi can't drive he can't take Riku when Eiri tells him to take Riku somewhere away from him. He says it could be awhile before Yoshiki comes to get him since she'll need some recovery time after the surgery. Eiri says that Shuuichi must have other reasons to want him to get better, and Shuuichi starts to say that he already told him, but Eiri cuts him off and says that he's not going to the hospital anyway, so Shuuichi can go ahead and get executed.
The next day, Shuuichi is at NG looking all pouty, wondering why Eiri hates the hospital so much. Noriko (who looks about 10) tells him to hang in there. Hiro and Suguru are already exhausted; apparently, Noriko has been making them do the Nittle Grasper cover song over and over since she wants it to be perfect. She says she doesn't really like the idea of it in the first place, and isn't happy that Rage decided on her own to have them do the song. She wonders about whether Rage is trying to make Shuuichi into a copy of Ryuuichi, but K says that's a silly question, because it's just mere mimicry. Noriko watches Shuuichi's singing intently and then he bursts out with "Yeah! Thank you Tokyo!" and she says that what she said really was just a silly question.
Back at the lover's abode, Shuuichi is dressed as a sexy nurse, practicing his song. A sleeping Eiri wakes up and clobbers him, telling him to shut up. Shuuichi says he needs to practice since they'll be filming a promotional video tomorrow. Eiri says he's tired of hearing that disgusting song, and Shuuichi yells at him not to make fun of Ryuuichi's song. He tells him not to hate Ryuuichi, since that (the kiss) only happened because of Rage's scheming. Eiri says he just innately hates the guy. Shuuichi says he could at least lie to him a little since he went to the trouble of getting all "fan serviced" up for him (but he can't see it), but at least now Eiri doesn't have to go the hospital he hates so much. Eiri asks if that's the reason why he was doing this for him, and Shuuichi says it is. Eiri puts his head in his hands, asking when the hell did he ever say he hated the hospital. Shuuichi asks him what's the real reason for why he won't go to the hospital, and Eiri gets up to walk around and starts crashing into stuff (is it wrong that I still find this funny? ^_^ He's just so cute!) He says that right now he's not "cool" or a "beauty" anymore, but he never wanted to be that way anyway, and his looks never brought him anything good, so he's OK with the way things are now.
Later on, Shuuichi is with Bad Luck and the others again, and Hiro says that he understands Eiri's reasons, but he doesn't feel sorry for him. Shuuichi is impressed, saying he doesn't understand the reason at all. Hiro asks Shuuichi what part he likes best on Eiri, and Shuuichi says his face. Hiro now understands why Shuuichi doesn't understand Eiri's reasons :P K shows up and says that it's time to start filming their promotional video. K drives them out into a jungle like area. Shuuichi complains, but K says that they have to do as their sponsor (XMR) wishes. He says they'll be fine since they have a guide to show them the way....the guide is a monkey :P The go into a cave, where Shuuichi notices some rocks falling, but he says surely they don't need to worry about the cave collapsing or anything, right? But, of course, it does. To be continued....
Oh noes, like, teh Bad Luck guys are caved in! Who wants to bet that Eiri will blindly crawl through the rubble to save his "twue wuv"? Yeah, me neither.
