Egypt troubles
There is no excuse for this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8nH3JuBd4s I don't care what your cause is. I don't care how bad your government has treated you. I don't care about any of the issues. There is no reason to destroy ancient artifacts like this. It is a crime against history.
I am just glad things like the Rosetta stone and the Nefertiti bust are in other countries right now. I fear for King Tut's gold mask though. If a looter gets a hold of that then it's gone for good. They will melt it down and sell the gold.
I wish I could support the return Egyptian artifacts to Egypt movement but as long as it is so unstable over there the artifacts are safer elsewhere. This is sad and I really hate to say it but that doesn't make it any less true.
