Wow... I haven't updated this in wow... a looong time. Lol. Whats new? Lets start with today to make things easier lol. I got up at 7:30 and Cassie and I went (it was cloudy and stormed later,w hoohoo! Sunny now though :( ) down to the Biomat Clinic to donate plasma. Contrary to popular belief I am now not doing it for the money. Theres not much I can do at this point in my life to help other people in the world. But this helps people, and this makes me feel really good inside. Part of it might be that I want to prove to people that I'm not the selfish person they think I am. We couldn't donate today though, since I had my ears re-pierced less than a year ago (in May) and now have to go down to Claire's and get a letter of sterility. Wouldn't it be easier to just, like, get an HIV test for everyone? All it really is is a finger prick right, rather than having your donors running around to collect all sorts of shit.
Anyways, since we had extra time Cassie and I came back to the house laughing that the free way was still blocked......
OFF TOPIC: Forgot to mention this! Lol, the freeway. This was classic. When we left we were trying to get onto the freeway to head downtown to the Clinic. We barely got halfway up the on-ramp when we just stopped. For as far as we could see in front of us and behind us the freeway was blocked. Cursing silently we put the car and park and waited there, until that is some guy decided to make a totallly illegal U-turn into one of the lanes on the on ramp that was blocked by cones, and went off the ramp. At first everyone was like What the Hell, man, whadda ya doin? But soon everyone started to follow his lead and illegally go OFF the ON ramp. We joined in. Everyone was just like, fuck this I'd rather get at ticket than sit here for hours (no one got a ticket). Kudos to whoever intiated it. Kudos, I say!
Anyway, back ON TOPIC. We went back the house, did a few quick things and left to see The Time Traverls Wife. And Oh my god it was amazing. Sad. Depressing. But amazing. Kind of showed you how to live life in the moment and stop thinking about what tragic things are going to come. Live each day like your last, which is proboably what we should all do but never do.
Then we went back the house, and well thats whre I am now lol. Again, waiting impatiently for September 24th to get closer everyday. It'll be nine months by then that we've been apart. Way too long. Excited to see him again, and excited for all we have planned. Ooooh and another hting, hopefully going on a Cruise with him next summer. :D Fingers crossed!
I'll try to update more, though I know I always say that.
