For thouse of you in the local theater scene, Brett McCalistar's wife Anne was hurt in a car accident a few weeks back. She was in a coma and has since woken up. She has spoken slighhtly and has some minor movements.
Brett has decided (and rightfully so) he is going to hault the production of the play Gospel Gospel until the Spring/Sunmmer of 09. He wants to care for his wife and be there for her...it is understandable and bittersweet. I was looking forward to working with Brett as he has been a local theater idol of mines. He called personally and broke the news to me. He did offer to give me free private lessons at his home and to pass my name along and aid in any way he could.
So as of now, the play is on hold, but I have Indie Gauntlet coming up...which I am excited about but I am still mifted over the effin whole "endorsement" thang. Please do not get me started on that bullshit tip again. Because again what am i going to endorse..(mad shout out to Lori and Nick as Nick drolled over my last post...he is such a hungry jack) But at any rate tomorrow night we film the first bit of pre-show shit. I am excited about it and nervous. Cause ok..now I always wanted to be on tv and film, but after that bullshit movie I did with bunk films..(ya'll can go rent it at Mass Ave video...I am cool with it, after all if Renee Zellweger can make Texas Chainsaw Massacar the next generation, mutter the lines"you had me at hello" and still win an Oscar, bitch so can I!)
That peice of shi.....I mean lovely cenima explotation film called Hairtrigger can again be found at Mass Ave video. I played Ray a drug dealer, (I should had known something was up when the director who is lation as hell thought he was white and couldn't speak any spanish outside ordeing a number 2 at Taco Bell) But anywho, I need to get motivated, I am planning a Mario Party and I in typical Johnny fashion have lost my damn mind and went over board. I need to upload some of the picks from the throw back bbq it was the deal yo! Okay kids, I will holla back laters....
