Today I feel like something in me died.
Maybe it was the childish hope that our country actually cared about it's citizens.
I fell asleep dreaming of rainbows and hope.
I woke up wanting to just drink away the day.
Thank Goddess for my son, who (on days like these) is my one thread that keeps me hanging.
I'm going to write a letter to George Bush. A very thought out letter. I will post it when it's done. It won't do much of anything, but I have something to say to him. I'm thinking about including a bible with my letter, so he can read up on what God is really all about.
I think we should form a silent protest. Everyone should go buy a bible (it can be one of those cheap little ones they give out when you join the military) and they should mail it to the White House.
He thinks God is about Hate, and War, and Vengeance. Well, he needs to go back and read through his scriptures again. God, Allah, Goddess, Krishna, however you name him, is about LOVE. And love doesn't bomb countries, and love doesn't keep people apart.
We have to keep strong. We have to keep fighting. The future comes whether he likes it or not, and in the future, we will all be united.
