HP Character Meme of DOOM
I don't know why, I just felt like saying DOOM.
Anyway... HP MEME! snagged from randomneses
01. The first character I fell in love with: Hermione, I think. She's smart and spunky, and I remember her being my favorite for a while. I was always intrigued by Snape, but I didn't "fall in love" with that character till after I saw the HBP movie [saw movies first] and read DH.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Lily Evans. She's hardly in the movies/books, and I didn't know much about her...but when I read DH and then HBP and OotP (out of order, LOL) I loved her.
03. The character (most) everyone else loves that I don't: Hmmm... James Potter? Most of the Snapefen hate him, but fandom at large seems to like him well enough. I don't hate James, but I'm not feeling the love, either, LOL. I'd say it's because he's a douch, but so is Sirius (whom I like better of the two) and so is Snape (who's my fav), so that can't be it. I wish we'd seen more of James in the books. Maybe that would have helped. *shrugs*
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Well, a lot of Snapefen seem to hate Lily (and Dumbledore, and I still love Dumbledore). Are there still a lot of fans who hate Snape? IDK
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Dumbledore got knocked off his pedestal in DH, but I still love him so...nobody?
06. The character I would shag any time: None of them, I'm married. ;P The character I think is most attractive with both looks and personality taken into account is Lupin, though. In real life, Snape would drive me insane, but I like his look and his personality amuses me. Keep in mind, I like Steve Buscemi's look, too. I have weird tastes, sometimes.
07. The character I want to be like: McGonagall. She's wise and hardy and brave.
08. The character I'd slap: Snape (so many times and so hard). Love him but don't get me started. Schooldays James and Sirius (quite a bit and hard) for the bullying of anyone. Harry in OoTP for his general attitude and looking in Snape's Pensieve (idiot). I can think of more, but then it would never end. I find most characters needed a good slapping (or more) at some point.
09. A pairing that I love: Severus/Lily OTP! Severus/Lily/Remus OT3! Snape/Lupin and Snape/McGonagall are my second favorite pairs. Lately I've taken a liking to Severus/Sirius fics (with the mutual hatred). I love Snape/Lucius when its played purely for laughs and is unrequited on Lucius's side. Hee hee! For a non-Snape pairing, my favorite is Harry/Hermione.
10. Two pairings that I hate: Voldemort/anyone *shudders*. I don't like James/Lily by themselves, but I like James/Lily/Snape. I'm weird that way. :P Also, I very rarely can get into anything Snape/Harry or Snape/Draco.
11. Favourite character: Wait for it... Snape! If you couldn't see that coming, you haven't been paying attention. ;P
12. My six favourite characters: Aside from Snape... Lily, Lupin, Luna, Hermione, McGonagall, and Dumbledore.

My five least favourite characters: Voldemort (love to hate him), Mulciber and Avery (hardly in the books, so I don't know why), Bellatrix (also love to hate her), Umbridge (not even her love of kittens can save her from my hatred), Filch (cat love can't save him either), and Peter (for the betrayal). ETA: Fenrir Greyback (that dude is nightmare fuel unleaded! how could I forget him?)
14. Which character I am most like: Luna. I'm weird and introverted and have questionable fashion sense. Whee!
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: Not a secret, but blasphemy nonetheless...I saw all the movies first (1 - 6) and then read the books in reverse order starting with DH. Oh, also I read a Snape/Draco fic that was so twisted (and I knew it would be) yet very well written, and I shall take the fact that I read it and liked it (although I thought it was horrifying), to my grave. It haunted me and gave me nightmares. But it was so well written.
Oh great, now I have The Mysterious Ticking Noise stuck in my head, for some reason. Snape, Snape, Severus Snape... Dumbledore! LOL... Arg, get out of my head! #%$%! Ear worm song!
