I had a lot of fun with this challenge and with drabble writing in general. It's nice to just write something very short and the challenge of breaking it into 100 word bites reminds me of writing haikus. I like it. :)

“Hmmm,” Dumbledore intoned, as he looked up from his hand of cards to Snape’s stony face. A sizeable pile of Galleons lay on the table between them.
“Your bet, Headmaster,” Snape said, calmly.
Suddenly, Dumbledore smiled and declared, “Well, I might as well see you, Severus, or I’ll never know what you have there!” The Headmaster threw down another Galleon and a faint smirk appeared on Snape’s face.
Snape laid down his cards. “Full house.”
“Ah, you’ve got me,” replied Dumbledore, as he laid down his flush. He sighed and thought, Well, there goes my treats for the evening. Phooey.

Snape gathered the coins to him and then paused, as he noticed a scrap of gold flaking off of one of them. He peeled it off to reveal that there was chocolate underneath. Snape gave the Headmaster a withering look. “This one’s chocolate.”
“Of course! They all are!” replied Dumbledore.
“What?” Snape said, with clinched calmness.
“You didn’t think I’d be gambling with real Galleons, now did you Severus?” Dumbledore asked, with a glint in his eyes.
“Silly me,” Snape said, icily, as he peeled off the rest of the gold from the chocolate coin. He ate it and sighed.
