just another day
well... today wasn't too bad.... i woke up around four thirty, went for my run, hopped in the shower, got out and ate a blueberry muffin for breakfast. i cleaned 'our' room, and vacuumed and wiped all the counters and desks down, then i got ready for school. school was a cool deal, today, because i went to a 'best of the best' competition where they judge you on your military bearing (i have none, lol), your uniform (looked awesome!) and naval history knowledge (right on!)... i ended up getting 'best of the best' for my schoolhouse, which is a big deal... and nominated for 'sailor of the quarter' or something similar...
i just got done with PT... it was really overcast and looked like it was going to rain, but it didnt... but it was nice to get to work out in 'non heated' conditions.... i cant believe that i feel that eighty degrees is hot... but it sure is when you are running two miles!
so yeah, im not going home for the fourth of july--- since ill be done with school mid august anyway.... i can wait a few more weeks to go home- ill survive, lol.
things are going okay, up here... i 'got a talking to' yesterday, i was told that i've really shown that i am a good leader, and have a bright future in the navy. did i mention im holding down a 91 average?
