Here's a fail-safe way to get me to do something: appeal to my competitive streak. I've been meaning to do a Prince Justicion design that adapted Stephen's
awesome Roman
armor for weeks now, but only when
a Colboard fanart contest came around did I actually finish it.
So here we have the finished picture.
Helmet sold separately.
Hung on to the blindfold-glasses, the C-shaped sword hilt, and the scales on the chest. The new color scheme uses a lot from the Patriot Armor, which I think helps make it less monochromatic without being too generic.
The Tek hairstyle, which worked so well on Tux Jansen, was a flop on Prince Justicion; here I tried out his Roman hairstyle. I think it suits him much better, don't you?
In fact, I really like the whole design better; I'm not waffling about it the way I was with the last one.
(Wasn't it nice of Stephen, not long after we were struggling with this armor, to give us something in canon to work with? Not that he had any idea he was doing it, but hey, I choose to give him credit for niceness anyway.)
