Bookmooch Bender
Yup, since I joined a few short days ago I have mailed 18 books and am (hopefully) mooching 12 thus far. Oh and I still have around 38 points to spend on future mooches. Woot! I just trolled through all the Janet Evanovich books available and think I've picked up all the ones I didn't have .
Today was a bit of a write off really since for some reason I couldn't sleep last night (and no it wasn't caffeine induced) and wound up getting all of 4 hours sleep before staggering off to work. Knowing that I was a write off for getting anything truly constructive done I decided to have a "training" day and got through alllll the training packages I've been putting off doing these last few months. I figures since I was half asleep anyway it would be my usual state for doing these things. My manager was pleased not to have to keep hassling me about it and I demanded a freddo as a reward for all my hard work ;) I told her I react better to the carrot than the stick approach...at which point she threatened to evict me to Self Manager Super Funds (the section that shares our floor that is on the other side of the building...or the "Dark side" as I prefer to call it) if I didn't behave. At which point I promised to be good, anything to avoid going over there! The funny thing is the people over there can't understand why none of us in my section want to "upgrade" to their section since it's more "technically challenging"...nooo thankyou!!! We prefer watching crane-man, having afternoon minigolf battles, golden valley (juice bottle) tennis and suchlike.
Okay time for me to pass out now.
