That's it I'm moving to Exmouth!
Well I got back from my week in lovely sunny Exmouth being spoiled by my mother, and quite frankly I’d rather have stayed up there! After all the rain we’ve had in Perth of late I really enjoyed the sunshine.
Initially it started off rather badly when after having had 4 hours sleep I sat down on the plane at around 6am to discover that sitting next to me was a mother with small chocolate covered child in her lap who proceeded to spend the trip whining, throwing toys at MY feet, and smearing said chocolate on me. Oh yay. I seriously spent the whole 3 hours trying not to make eye contact and attempting to sleep (unsuccessfully).
Anyway that trauma over, the rest of my week was fabulous. Some highlights:
Lots of walks/drives along the beach with the dogs
Jam session night at the local yacht club - some awesome musicians in town!
My birthday mum booked us on a quad bike (4 wheel motorbike) snorkeling tour. Mum was riding pillion behind me (screaming)on the quad bike as we blatted along trails and across the beach to a couple of spectacular snorkelling spots. SO much fun.
Awesome limey cocktails at the flash new resort while watching the sun set over the water.
It was blissfully slothy in parts too so that ruled too .
