Planning: My new book idea! Some characters I used to roleplay in a played-by-email RPG back in the late 1990s-early 2000s came back to me and became active in my head again. One of them who was very secretive even with me finally confessed his biggest secret, and I think it would make a great first book about these characters. Before I can start the book, I have to change a lot of details because I was in my 20's when I first came up with them, and they really don't work. I want it to be at least somewhat scientifically believable, so I've got to change where the aliens come from and fix up their language a bit. I've also been reading some old logs of the game to pick out details I have forgotten and make note of good storylines and dialogue I can reuse (my own; I'm replacing any characters who belonged to someone else with new ones I'm creating myself). It's a lot of work, but it makes me happy to do it. ^__^
Looking forward to: Friday, my next day off from work.
