I don't have anything big to talk about, but I just feel like posting something, so here comes a bunch of random!
I've liked the last few eps of "Supernatural" a lot. It's good to see this season get better after all the boringness with the unimpressive Leviathans. I just find it hard to get excited about them when most of the "ooooh, they're so bad, the hardest foes Dean and Sam have ever faced!" feeling they've been laboring to create has been mostly talk. Maybe they'll get more threatening closer to the end of the season. Sorry if any of this is a major spoiler for anyone; it all sounds very general to me, stuff you can read in general summaries of the season, so it doesn't seem like I need to cut it.
Funny conversation with a customer I spoke to on the phone tonight: People love to make this joke to me -- "Is there anything else I can help you with?" "Yeah, you can give me the winning lottery numbers!" Tonight's joke was like that, but I had fun with it. Customer said, "Do you have a million dollars that you don't need anymore?" I said I wish I did, because if I had an extra million dollars that I didn't need, that would mean I had a lot more money than that. "I'd be happy to take it off your hands!" I said, "How thoughtful of you, to help me get rid of that extra million that's been keeping me up at night, wondering how I can manage to be rid of it." We had a good laugh. :)
Went to the doctor yesterday to get a refill of my blood pressure meds. I also mentioned the ear thing from last week, and that my right ear had started hurting too, and my throat had started to hurt. Turns out both ears are retaining fluid, red inside, and my throat is red too. I didn't think it would be quite that bad. Double ear infection, and a sore throat to boot. Back on the antibiotics and corticosteroids. Sometimes, the pain in my ears had been piercing, where it feels like someone just stabbed me in the ear for a few seconds, so I asked for more Lortab. (OTC Tylenol doesn't help with the pain of ear infections much.) Doctor gave me more, yaaaay. Love me some good painkillers. Weeee, I'm flying! Again, don't worry about me becoming a druggie. It's always a brief love affair that must end.
The corticosteroids are making me hungry. Must eat everything, bye!
