"Supernatural" was so funny and cute but also sad tonight. I really enjoyed it. ^_^ I guess I'll cut the rest for spoilers.
Sammy all afraid of clowns was so adorable. Especially when Dean realized he was scared and the way he said, "Sammy..." on the phone. Awwww. ^_^ Laughed a lot at the rainbow shooting out of the unicorn's general rump area. :D And Dean wanting a big rainbow-colored Slinky and how he played Skeeball to try to get one, but then realized it was a lost cause when he only got a few tickets. Hee! Then Sammy gets him one. It was all so cute.
The ending was sad, though, when Dean found out why the kooky guy was causing all these deaths. I felt kinda sorry for him. But, shark in the ball pit! Teeheehee!
SPN takes yet another thing I have loved since childhood (unicorns) and uses it in a bloody death. \o/ Only this show.
Who could blame Sammy for being afraid of clowns after that talking clown doll with the weird mouth that was up near the front door of the place? Eesh.
I'm disappointed that we didn't get to see the giant killer robot. :D
In other news, I've decided to try to get more organized and get rid of a lot of cumbersome, heavy crap around my apartment.
One thing I've been doing is working on transferring all my video tapes to DVDs since they take up a lot less room and don't weigh as much. It's a very slow process, but I've already completely transferred 6 tapes - that's 6 I can get rid of as of now. Good thing, too, because try to find a VCR these days. They don't sell them anymore unless they're attached to a DVD player. Eventually, they probably won't exist at all. If I want to keep the things that are recorded on my tapes, I need to transfer them while I still can. Currently, I have over 900 tapes that date back as far as 1985, and they're kept in big plastic tubs. Very heavy plastic tubs. Another good reason to get rid of the tapes.
Well, technically, I threw away about 200 tapes before I moved last year, so I guess I have around 700 left. Transferring them is a big job, but worth it. Once I've cut out all the commercials, I'll have maybe four hours of actual programs left. ;D (I'm exaggerating a little...)
Another thing that's been a problem is how do I store those DVDs without them becoming a cumbersome headache too? Right now, I've got them in plastic CD cases stacked up in a big plastic tub. It's extremely heavy, and it's hard to look through them when I'm trying to find a particular thing I recorded. So it occurred to me that I could store them just as well by getting some of those CD wallets only in the bigger, canvas briefcase size, ditch the plastic cases, and put them in there. They're pretty cheap, and a good sized one will hold 96 CDs/DVDs. I can put DVDs in order if they feature episodes of a TV show. They'll be very easy to look through, and not as heavy to carry around or take up as much room to store. I think it's a great idea that'll work out just terrific. ^_^ Can't wait to get the DVDs all transferred to the new carrying cases. (I've got to buy some more before I can finish, though. I already filled the first one!)
