I'll try to do a real life update soon. Still no full-time job. :( Still working on it.
Just a few thoughts on Friday's new ep of "Supernatural":
I think season 6 has been okay, but overall it's a mess. They haven't held a single storyline together well. Everything was all over the place. The thing with Heaven's weapons sounded really interesting, but they did almost nothing with it save one ep and some offhand references. Didn't totally like how Sam not having a soul screwed with the Sam & Dean woobie brother moments, although Soulless Sam can be fun to play with in fanfic. Mother of All seems kinda interesting. Not sure what they're going to do with that. Then there's the Campbells, whom I had high hopes for, but all got killed off before we learned anything about them besides their names. Where's Arlene, anyway? I think I'm the only person in this fandom who cares.
Now, it seems like they might be setting up Castiel to become a villain. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Will he just be more grey, like he was before he and Dean became friends? Or will he become someone Sam and Dean feel they have to kill? I think Misha could play it well (in fact, it might be a pretty badass thing to watch), but it kills me to think Cas and the boys could be at odds with each other. Can't wait to learn more about why Castiel is so gung-ho about this holy war at this point. There seems to be more to it than just wanting to save his own life.
